During holidays and special occasions, perfume is one of the most best gift ideas for Men and Women. Before, a woman was expected to have their signature scent but now they are more likely to treat fragrance as an accessory. They liked to change their perfume daily - or even more often - to suit their busy lives and shifting moods.
But sometimes, too much choice lead to confusion. Having a multiple perfume bottles cluttering on their vanity table for most of woman are now common. They taunt you every morning as they get dressed, with simple yet silent demand "who do they want to be today?"
To help you what is the best for them, this blog will give you guide to the major fragrance categories, with some suggestions to wear each one.

1. Cirtus

Infused with the tangy essence of citrus fruits, these perfumes are lively and energetic. They are best enjoyed as a daytime delight, just the thing to wake you up in the morning before you've had that second coffee. Wear a citrus perfume to meet your girlfriends for brunch, brighten a baby shower, or ride your bicycle to the organic market.
Some citrus fragrances are Clinique Happy, Burberry Weekend for Women, Cartier Eau de Cartier for Women, Jo Malone Grapefruit, Calvin Klein CK One, The Gap Close.

2. Floral

Sweet and romantic, these scents are the "good girls" of the fragrance aisle. Florals are sometimes single note, but generally combine the scents of various flowers to create a classic feminine appeal. Spritz on a floral when you want to show off (or fake) your sweet-and-girly side -- when meeting your boyfriend's parents comes to mind. These scents are also appropriate at church, the ballet, or your best friend's wedding, especially if you've got your eye on an eligible groomsman.
Example of floral fragrances are Chanel No 5, Karl Lagerfeld Chloe, Lancome Tresor and Anna Sui.

3. Fruity

Like a cheerleader with a wicked side, fruity perfumes are fresh and spicy. These fragrances please the nose with the bright and familiar smells of apple, peach, berry, mango and other juicy fruits, often blended with florals to create a compelling aroma. Pretty without being overwhelming, these perfumes are ideal for a movie-and-dinner first date. Just apply sparingly.

Ex: Liz Claiborne by Liz Claiborne, Avon Fire Me Up, Harajuku Lovers Lil' Angel, Ralph Lauren Ralph Wild, Marc Jacobs Splash: Apple 2010, Victoria's Secret.

4. Green

Smelling of fresh leaves and newly-mown grass, the green fragrances are a natural and energetic group. These scents tend toward the unisex, so are best left on the shelf when you're dressing to impress a hot date. Save them for daytime instead, when their sporty, modern appeal makes them a great fit for any casual or outdoor gathering. Wear one to cheer on your favorite football team, at the golfing range, or on a flea market amble with friends.

Ex: Chanel No. 19, Ralph Lauren Safari, Escada Sport Country Weekend, Sung Alfred Sung, Escada Magnetism, Adidas Adrenaline Woman.

5. Oceanic

Oceanic perfumes are a modern invention, first appearing with Christian Dior's Dune in 1991. These scents use a blend of synthetic compounds to evoke natural aromas such as mountain air, ocean spray or clean linen. Crisp and fresh, they are an ideal choice for job interviews, when you want your perfume to say, "I'm clean, efficient and won't stink up the joint if hired."

Ex: EChristian Dior Dune, Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers, Davidoff Cool Water Woman, Giorgio Beverly Hills Ocean Dream.

6. Oriental

Think of oriental perfumes as the fragrance equivalent of cleavage and a killer pair of stilettos. Exotic and distinctly feminine, these sensual blends feature an earthy, animalistic base scent such as musk or ambergris, often combined with warm notes such as amber. (When combined with florals, these scents are called "florientals"). The effect is a bold yet mysterious perfume that makes a big entrance, tosses back a few martinis, and leaves with phone numbers in her pocket. Wear one when you want to seduce, whether it's a third date or just a rare night out without the kids.

Ex: Elizabeth Taylor Black Pearls, Yves Saint Laurent Opuim, Guerlain Shalimar, Givenchy Organza, Yves Saint Laurent Opium, Versace Crystal Noir.

7. Spicy

Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what these perfumes smell like. Uncap one and be transported to your mom's kitchen - if your mom was the type who baked cinnamon rolls and gingerbread from scratch. With notes of cloves, ginger, cinnamon, cardamon and pepper, spicy perfumes are comforting and alluring in an old-fashioned way. Wear one to your next parent-teacher meeting, or at lunch with that handsome officemate who you wouldn't mind sharing pastry with.

Ex: Chanel Coco, Jo Malone Vetyver, BCBG Girls, Givenchy Ysatis, Estee Lauder Cinnabar.

8. Woody (Chypre)

Woody scents are built on base notes of bark and moss, conjuring winding forest paths. While more unisex than other fragrance categories, that's not to say these scents are masculine. They evoke a particular brand of no-nonsense femininity. Think Marion in Raiders of the Lost Ark, or Katharine Hepburn in any movie. This strong and classic appeal translates well to the corporate office, too. Wear one to your next performance review.

Ex: Estee Lauder Knowing, Chanel No. 19, Britney Spears Believe, Ralph Lauren Romance, Gucci Envy Me
17. When you touch a guy’s heart, there’s no turning back.
51. You have to tell a guy what you really want before getting involved with that guy.
52. A guy has to experience rejection, because if he’s too-good-never-been-busted, never been in love and hurt, he won’t be matured and grow up.
53. When an unlikable circumstance comes, guys blame themselves a lot more than girls do. They could even hurt themselves physically.
54. Guys have strong passion to change but have weak will power.
55. Guys are tigers in their peer groups but become tamed pussycats with their girlfriends.
56. When a guy pretends to be calm, check if he’s sweating. You’ll probably see that he is nervous.
72. Don’t be a snob. Guys may easily give up on the first sign of rejection.
73. Don’t be biased. Try loving a guy without prejudice and you’ll be surprised.***********
74. Girls who bathe in their eau de perfumes do more repelling than attracting guys.
75. Guys are more talkative than girls are especially when the topic is about girls.
76. Guys don’t comprehend the statement “Get lost” too well.
77. Guys really think that girls are strange and have unpredictable decisions but still love them more.
78. When a guy gives a crooked or pretentious grin at your jokes, he finds them offending and he just tried to be polite.
80. Guys tend to generalize about girls but once they get to know them, they’ll realize they’re wrong.
88. If a guy lets you go, he really loves you.
89. If you have a boyfriend, and your boy best friend always glances at u and it obviously shows that he is jealous whenever you’re with your boyfriend, all I can say is your boy best friend loves you more than your boyfriend does.
90. Guys learn from experience not from the romance books that girls read and take as their basis of experience.
91. You can tell if a guy is really hurt or in pain when he cries in front of you!
92. If a guy suddenly asks you for a date, ask him first why.
93. When a guy says he can’t sleep if he doesn’t hear your voice even just for one night, hang up. He also tells that to another girl. He only flatters you and sometimes makes fun of you.
94. You can truly say that a guy has good intentions if you see him praying sometimes.
95. Guys seek for advice not from a guy but from a girl.
96. Girls are allowed to touch boys’ things. Not their hair!
97. If a guy says you’re beautiful, that guy likes you.
98. Guys hate girls who overreact.
99. Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your relationships.
In order to do some “research,” I thought it may be fun to find out what men and women think we each should know about each other in order to have fulfilling and fun relationships.

Here is the first list for all of you men out there. It is as true as I could make it based on conversations and experiences I have had myself and those of friends and colleagues. It is all meant to be positive and for moving relationships forward (and I decided to have a little fun with it as well!). Our goal is to have long-lasting and fulfilling relationships and once and for all get rid of the BS!

1. Hold the door for us – even independent women like that.
2. We are smart. Let us know you know that by how you talk to us.
3. If you smell like the Abercrombie store, no matter what you look like, we will look twice.
4. We like to cuddle – and not just after sex.
5. If you cry while you watch “The Notebook” we will melt in your arms.
6. Scratchy lace, strings that go up our butt and bras that squish our boobs, although may be attractive to you, do not make us feel sexy.
7. We like to hear the sweet sound of our name.

8. Shave your back, or for more points, wax it.
9. Spitting, burping and farting in front of us is not a turn on.
10. Hold our hand like you mean it – we like that.
11. Don’t assume we know you love us. Tell us AND show us.
12. We love to be pleasantly surprised.
13. Fresh flowers earn you sex points.
14. Contrary to popular belief, we like sex. Especially when it involves a mutually orgasmic encounter.
15. If you start a sentence with “Dude,” we may be confused and not respond.
16. Pretending you are Mario Andretti when you drive, leaves us feeling a little nauseous and not in the mood for sex.
17. When you honk your horn and yell out your car window at us, think about how you would feel if someone did that to your mother or sister.
18. “Size doesn’t matter” is a myth. (A big heart goes a long way!)
19. Grabbing one of our breasts when we are upset does not make it all ok. It puts one of your most precious body parts in danger!
20. We want and like to be woo-ed and romanced. (If you are not sure how to do this, see my next book coming out soon or the book below!)
21. Foreplay is not out rated. Kissing, nuzzling and soft loving words will lead us to the bedroom more often than not.
22. Sex after marriage is still a reality if you treat us like you did when we were dating and give us time to miss you in between.
23. How you treat and talk about your Mom and ex’s is a clue to us as to how you may treat us in the future.
24. We like to be called by our first name, not our last.
25. We love to see you smile. Don’t hold back!
26. We like to be kissed (and please no tongue on the first date!)
27. We cannot read your mind and we know you cannot read ours – most of us are not Sylvia Browne – the more you tell us about what you are thinking and feeling, the more we know what you need.
28. We don’t want you to fix our problem; we just want to be listened to.
29. Seeing our man do the dishes is sexy (especially if you are wearing only an apron!)
30. A text response of “Ok” or “Thanks” to a serious statement is not a response.
31. If you are nervous on a date, the best thing to do is take a breath and ask us a question.
32. Getting drunk or high is a turn off.
33. We are all looking for the fairy tale ending (“Cinderella,” “Officer and a Gentleman” and the end of “Sixteen Candles” are my personal favorites!).
34. Take care of yourself physically. The only odor we should smell is that of flowers (see #13) or something like cologne (see #3).
35. We like to see bumps – muscle bumps not sugar lumps!
36. We all have some issues with anger. If you really want to keep us around, “Anger Management 101” is recommended.
37. We like to have intelligent conversations.
38. Make us laugh when we are upset and you will have our heart.
39. Most women are looking for a “soul mate,” not a “sex mate.” If you know we are not the one for you, let us know and move on nicely.
40. We love it when you are nice to our kids and treat them like you would your own.
41. Have a hobby and interests beyond us. It’s ok to go out with the guys.
42. Be sweet to us and treat us like a princess.
43. Patience is a virtue.
44. Find something to compliment us on every day (we love it when you notice the small details -new haircut, earrings, etc.)
45. Pay attention – when you are with us, be with us. Step away from the remote and mouse!
46. Care about how you look even when we are just watching a movie (Exception: Old t-shirts and wife beaters are ok when you are painting or doing a manly task ONLY!)
47. For God sakes, pick up a towel and wipe down the bathroom sink just once! (Lol!)
48. According to the Dali Lama (who I know is a man); kindness is the number one attribute people are searching for in a relationship. So true!
49. We will love you with all of our hearts because that is just who we are. All of the little things make the biggest difference – a soft caress, an expected gift, a touch of your hand, a kind word. Never stop trying to court us.
50. Men lead with their bodies and women lead with their hearts. The key to good sex is connecting with the heart and not so much with other things (although connecting those things aren’t bad either!)
